Polliwalks
I'm a bit of a shoe snob. And not in the way you might think. I'm more in the "Jimmy who?" camp but when it comes to sneakers and casual footwear I know my stuff. For the past two years my little guy has been pretty good about letting me tuck his toes into whatever I wish, and thankfully shares my taste in most things. Nevertheless, as we start to give him more options in the clothing department I'm starting to realize he would add a little more of the trucks, soccer balls and animals that are scarce in Mama's choosing. So, in addition to the skate shoes and the obligatory pair of Chucks you will now see my little guy sporting his newly beloved Polliwalks.
And what is so special about these shoes you might ask? For starters they look like "Gators Mom!" (or ducks, or frogs) and are oh, so comfy. Straight out of the box my 2 year old slipped them on with no mention of needing help (does it even matter what they look like when that happens?!) and it's taken some serious leverage to get him to take them off for anything. This week in my house you will have seen Polliwalks in the bath, on top of the breakfast table and snuggling in my toddlers arms, and on those feet of course.
I'm itching for the weather to break for many reasons, but I've just added the joy of seeing Polliwalks foot printing bottoms in action to my list. In sand, mud, water and dirt (or my oversized stamp pad, not that we tried it or anything) they will leave behind tracks that might just send the gator prey scurrying to higher ground. Oh and if your still on the fence, we should add that Polliwalks are Vegan and take pride in their no waste manufacturing and eco-friendly packaging.
