Bumkins and Dr. Suess

GRINCHMAS_PRODUCT We Wish You a Merry Grinchmas

We already know we love Bumkins diapers and have been delighted to see their BPA free products popping up at Babies R US so, when we heard of the opportunity to team up with Mom Bloggers Club to spread the word about Bumkins Dr. Suess line and Grinchmas giveaway we had to jump on board.

We're generally not big on branded product but Dr. Suess is one of the classics we are happy to stand behind. Bumkins offers a full line of apparel from Thing 1 and Thing 2 tees and onesies perfect for twins to the Coverall Suess Suit [$25] that brings a splash of Christmas cute. Speaking of splash, the waterproof line will keep little ones dry from shoulder to bum with bibs, smocks, aprons and diapers.

Of course, with Christmas just around the corner there are those of us big and small who are feeling a bit Grinchy. I say embrace it and pass it along with the Grinch gift set [$25] complete with themed onesie, ornament and gift box. Afterall, in the end that Grinch ends up quite Merry.

Kea and Joby

Kea_and_joby A Fond Farewell to Kea and Joby!

Our friends at Kea & Joby are closing their doors for good on Friday, September 19. While we're sad to see them go we couldn't resist passing along some good news for you.

Everything must go which means every one of their snuggly sweet pieces is $5 or $10! There are some great tees left for baby boys and if you're shopping for a girl you can still find her a new wardrobe.

ImagiPLAY

Imagiplay_puzzle_playset A Natural Dream With a Touch of Green

I feel really old when I hear myself starting in about how today's toys leave no room for imagination but too often it's true. This is why I tend to turn to brands we know and trust around here when I'm looking for new playthings for my boy. ImagiPLAY is one of my favorites. In addition to their amazing selection of eco-friendly, imaginative toys, they are always expanding their catalog with new additions that recreate old classics or take their reputation of cool to a whole new level.

Their latest and greatests include Puzzle Playsets and Natural Dream Puzzles. The Puzzle Playsets [$20]name pretty much says it all but it doesn't say how much fun these sets really are. Available in three animal themes (Rainforest, Sealife and our favorite Dinosaurs) each includes several sturdy animal and environment pieces that can be used to create endless scenes and scenario's. These are the tools open ended play are made of. When you're done or as part of the play all of the pieces fit together to create a square puzzle that is a scene in of itself.

The Natural Dream Puzzles [$12-$30] are for a bit of an older set with more free form and intricate pieces. The large selection of animal, vehicle and holiday inspired pieces come au natural and with the ColorMeUp sets your little artist can paint the puzzle herself as her little heart desires with the included watercolor pallet and brush (or not).

As always ImagiPlay's toys are made with the environment and your child's safety in mind and at this moment I can't think of much better than watching my little one get lost in his own little world of happy, healthy play.
